5. Workday

A lot of people think of Workday as solely a human capital management (HCM) solution. However, over the years, Workday has also expanded into financials, and they’re now providing great functionality and capability in the financial space. A lot of larger organizations are finding that the financial capabilities combined with its HCM capabilities make Workday a good ERP solution.

Another strength of Workday is not only its market share and its position in the market but also the fact that it’s a native cloud solution. The fact that Workday started out as a cloud solution gives it a leg up in the industry with the level of maturity and overall capability within the system, specifically in the cloud-computing space.

4. Deltek

If your organization is heavy in project management or government contracting in aerospace and defense, you probably have heard of this ERP system. Its functionalities speak to that sector well, but it is also applicable and efficient for other industries. A lot of larger companies benefit from the capabilities of Deltek because of its premium functionalities in project management.

3. SAP S/4HANA

This is a very popular ERP System, and for a good reason. The reason it’s only number 3 on our list is due to the fact that although it is still a great solution for larger organizations, there’s a certain amount of maturity that’s lacking. For example, the R3 and ECC on the SAP side were a lot more mature and more established with more robust capabilities than S/4Hana, and that is solely because of the migration that the company is making from on-premise to cloud-based offerings.

With that said, SAP has the strength, competency, and scalability to support larger organizations. They have a refreshing portfolio of functionalities to meet the needs of diverse organizations, product lines, and customers. It’s also reassuring to see global, Fortune 500 companies utilizing the software effectively, which speaks to their long-standing track record as a premier ERP software.
